Skype has become one of the most widely used communication tools in the world, with more than 300 million active users per month. At least there are no problems with the calling or video feature, although they do lack some creativity.Skype is a widely used communication platform that allows people to make video and voice calls, send instant messages, and share files with others around the world. These problems prevent the app from appearing smooth no matter how powerful PC you have or how fast your Internet connection is. Switching between different conversations in the app and sending a message does feel slow at times. Even worse, once you do open the photo by clicking it, you can't zoom it in or do anything besides saving it. This prevents you from looking at an image and messaging to someone about it. The apps functionality is pretty solid, although there is one thing we find annoying, which is that you are almost unable to see the image someone sent you without opening it, as the thumbnail for it is pretty small. The major part of the window is reserved for the actual chat, which doesn't offer anything you aren't used to, if you are familiar with Messenger, WhatsApp, or Snapchat.

The design of the app is as simple as it gets, with grayscale design or white design mixed with light blue color, famous for Skype. Those days are gone as every other app has a video-call feature, but nonetheless let's see how Skype keeps up on the Windows platform.
